- I am coming to the Youth Group Christmas Party!
Details
Christmas is when we celebrate the birth of our precious Savior who chose to leave eternal glory to born in human likeness in a filthy manger (John 1:14) so that He could sacrifice His life for us - His enemies (Romans 5). We are celebrating and honoring our King by choosing to follow His example of service (Matthew 20:26-28).
During the month of December, we have numerous opportunities to serve in areas that are close to the heart of God - children, the needy, and those battling addiction and homelessness.
The goal is to have every student serve at least once in one of the opportunities. Students can also choose to serve more than once if they would like to. At the end of our service month we will have a Christmas Party celebrating and honoring our Savior Jesus Christ and His example of service!
Here’s how it works:
Register and sign-up for specific service opportunities in the month of December. Some opportunities have a limited amount of spots so that we can be sure that everyone can play a meaningful part in what needs to be done. You’ll receive more information based on what you sign-up for. The one thing we will ask is that you do not sign-up for something if you cannot make the full time commitment for the service opportunity. Contact Kayla at youth@christianhill.com or 401-210-8868 with any questions.
