Serving Opportunities
We love to see God's hand at work in and through His people. As Ephesians 4:16 reads, "He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love." Let us help you find your special work.

Outreach Ministry
Our Outreach Ministry’s core team is made up of multiple amazing people using their spiritual gifts to selflessly bless our Church Family and Community.
The heart of our outreach is to, Share the gospel with the lost, Be a light to the broken, Feed the hungry, Clothe the needy, Pray with those that need prayer, and much more..
We do it all for Gods Glory, “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 NIV
We want our Community to know they are not alone.
At any given event we average 150 volunteers. Our opportunities to serve range from, set up, break down, sorting (clothing, shoes, toys), taping boxes, moving boxes, and things as simple as removing tags and hangers from clothing. We have something for everyone, whether you can sit or stand.
If that’s not what you’re looking for maybe you love to cook? All of our large events take 6 days to accomplish. During that time we need food to feed the volunteers.
If this sounds like something you may be interested in and your a church attendee, please click the link below to send us a detailed email. Once received someone from the Outreach Ministry will get back to you to set up a time for a more detailed conversation. Blessings Michelle.

Kids at Christian Hill
Kids Ministry at Christian Hill has been involved in the lives of 175 kids in the past year. And that’s just Sunday mornings!
From the time an infant is left in our care, until they leave 5th Grade, it is our desire for every child to know they are loved by God, truth is found in His word, and they are a vital part of His family. We want kids to experience engaging teaching, age appropriate worship and activities, and ultimately a relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe in community and understand that the relationships kids form at church can greatly impact their desire to continue attending as they get older.
We are intentional in staffing each area in light of the vast span of ages and needs of each child in our ministry. We rely on a team of over 40 volunteers for our Sunday services. All volunteers are members of Christian Hill or in the membership process, and are serving where we believe God has called them. They have a passion for working with kids and growing in their own faith.
To join this awesome team, please contact April Gadoury, Director of Kids Ministry and set up a time to talk. You will discuss your passions and reasons for serving, and look at the opportunities available in KidMin. If its a good fit, a background check will be conducted to begin the onboarding process. We are a multicultural and multi generational team that is excited to have more men, women, and youth join us!
If you are passionate about helping kids love God, care for others, and grow in their faith. Kids at Christian Hill may be a great place for you!
Opportunities include, but not limited to:
All aspects of Sunday mornings - 1st and 2nd service
Behind the scenes: social media, fund raising, event planning and follow up, phone calls, birthday cards, family community groups, child care for church wide events, cleaning and classroom prep.

Youth Group
Discipleship is impossible apart from relationship. Our Youth Leaders spend time with students because they want to. Faith is proven to stick past High School when students have at least five adults involved in their life during their teenage years. The more adult volunteers on our team, the more students God can reach through this ministry.
Our leadership team is diverse in age, vocation, stage of life, spiritual growth and more which provides the students with a wide variety of adult believers to walk alongside them. Historically, Children's and Youth Ministries have a low number of men serving so that is an area of need.
If God has given you a heart to serve Christ by investing into the lives of teenagers, pray about serving as a Youth Leader. Here are the basic requirements for serving on the Youth Leader team:
~ You must be a member of Christian Hill Community Church or in the membership process.
~ You must pass a background check.
~ You must be willing to align with the vision and mission of the church and the Youth Group.
~ You must pass a background check.
~ You must be willing to align with the vision and mission of the church and the Youth Group.
Anyone who meets these basic requirements can set-up an auditing process with the Youth Director that will last three weeks. After those three weeks, you will meet with the Youth Director to discuss whether or not serving in the Youth Ministry is the right fit for you. New Youth Leaders would start serving by attending Youth Group for three months to get to know the students and the program and then we will go from there.

Connection Team
We exist to glorify God and grow His Kingdom by extending a welcoming spirit of love and community to all He sends to us. As the first impression of Christian Hill Community Church, our desire is to ensure that all who enter Christian Hill Community Church feel the genuine love and peace of Christ in our church.
We are dedicated to helping guests, newcomers, and members become connected to our church community. It is our hope that each individual who enters our doors will immediately feel the unconditional love of Jesus Christ. We foster relationships within the church body and it is our role to create a warm and welcoming environment so that attendees feel comfortable, safe and valued. There are many capacities to serve on our team and we’d love to have you come along side of us. Here is a snapshot of the opportunities to serve in this ministry.
Outside greeters: As weather permits, greeters stand outside the doors ready to assist people with any needs. In rainy weather have a team member ready to use larger umbrellas in assisting members and guests to the entrance. These greeters are always ready with a smile to open the doors for all who arrive.
Elements Greeter: This greeter makes sure all communion elements are full and is ready to serve everyone who enters will the communion elements that we partake in during service.
Welcome Greeter: This person is readily available to hand out any church information that is available, assist with any greeting team needs, and helps set up the coffee cups for distribution by Deacons after service.
New Family Greeter: If Pastor Chris or any of the Elders are available, this greeter introduces new families to them and encourages them to visit the welcome station after service. This person is ready to explain the different ministries that are available at church: Outreach, Children’s, Youth, Tuesday night prayer, Community Groups etc. This person also walks new families with children downstairs to the children's area and introduces them to the children's ministry welcome hosts.
Informational Greeter: This greeter is ready to help anyone sign up for different activities in the church.
Ushers: Greet and direct members and visitors as they enter the sanctuary. Ushers also assist with seating and sanctuary traffic if necessary.
Exit Greeters: Greeting upon leaving is as important as when arriving. These greeters direct new visitors to the welcome station to meet the Deacons, reconnect with first time visitors, listen for opportunities for prayer, and make sure that all who leave feel as welcomed as when they arrived.

Worship
Worship isn't what we do, it is who we are. A heart of worship is one that flows out of a heart of gratitude and surrender to our Savior. What we do on Sunday morning is the overflow of saying yes to God's plan for our lives and living that out through our gifts and talents that He has given us.
Our team is like a family, we grow together, we support one another, and stretch each other. We are continuously working on our individual skill sets that God has given us and together we are always pushing forward and learning together physically and spiritually.
Everything you see in here on Sunday morning is an act of worship. Our musicians, singers, technicians and everyone in between, work in lockstep in order to accomplish the goals that God has set for us for each individual service. It's our desire to work to the best of our ability to the glory of God, every note played, lyric sung, camera shot taken, button pushed or knob twisted or even the space bar hit, is an act of worship to our God and we take every opportunity to serve God in this way seriously. As seriously as we take our opportunities to serve, we never want to think of ourselves anything other than a servant of God. We know we are not perfect and will NEVER be, we are just a group of flawed individuals doing our best to serve God in the gifting He gave us!
To get started with onboarding, you'll first contact us and we'll set up an initial meeting, where we will get to know you and your interests, and we will discuss in greater detail the opportunities we have on the team, expectations that we have and the process to move forward.
We have a number of positions on the team that you can get involved in. Here is a list of the departments we have opportunities in. We will not list every job out here, we will discuss those in greater detail in our initial meeting.
Musicians; Instrumentalist / Engineers - Singers - Presentation Operators - Live Video
It's important to know that our minimum requirements to join the team is membership with us as a church family. And if you are an instrumentalist or a singer, a year of serving either in a different ministry or a different part of the team is required.
If this is intriguing to you and you want to set up a first meeting. On Sunday morning come see Stephanie Rotella (Worship Leader) or David John (Worship Producer)
